The 60 and 40-second ads are created by Leo Burnett and will run for six weeks. Featuring Nancy Sinatra’s classic ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking’, the ad shows Rooney and her band of sergeants putting some new recruits through their fashion paces.
Girls are seen polishing high-heels in the barracks, practising how to ‘change arms’ with handbags, taking on an assault course and learning how to march in time in their heels. The ad finishes with the standard passing out parade and the girls all looking fashionable wearing Littlewoods’ clothing and products.

A useful study here from the ‘Pew Research Center’ taking a look at the demographic make-up of US social media users across Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. No data on LinkedIn of Google+, but great stats all the same.
