DDB London leads UK push on Cannes outdoor list

 

CANNES - DDB London has scooped the highest number of shortlisted entries for a UK agency in the Outdoor Lions category.

The agency picked up 12 nominations for its Harvey Nichols work, including executions from its "summer sale", "winter sale" and "food hall" campaigns.

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi come in joint second with four entries each.

The former picked up three for The Economist in the Publications and Media category and the final one for its "donor card" work, again for The Economist, in the Small Scale Special Solutions category.

All four of Saatchis' nominations were for Procter & Gamble, with three for Olay and one for Ariel.

Also on the list is Lunar BBDO, with two for The Samaritans, JWT, with one for Kit Kat, and CHI & Partners with one nomination for its "shotgun" work for the Lung Cancer Foundation.

Mother made the shortlist in the Special Build category for its "girl in a photo booth" work for the Discovery Networks, while both The Partners and Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy had nominations in the Stunts and Live Advertising category for Operation Trident and The National Gallery respectively.
