US ad agency TBWA/Chiat Day, New York has produced a 45-second spot for Swedish vodka brand Absolut based on a recent print campaign.
The poster campaign was based around the idea of an exploding cocktail glass that reveals the liquid contained within it.
The TV ad expands the idea, but instead of a cocktail drink, it shows a disassembled Absolut Vodka bottle.
The glass pieces in the ad were created using CGI, but in order to achieve the suspended vodka, a water balloon with roughly the same proportions as the main body of the Absolut bottle was pierced with a blow dart and photographed. It was then filmed this at 8,000 frames a second.

A useful study here from the ‘Pew Research Center’ taking a look at the demographic make-up of US social media users across Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. No data on LinkedIn of Google+, but great stats all the same.
