- BBC Education has launched an official Teletubbies Website, which aims to combine the familiarity of the TV series with the interactivity of the internet to both educate and entertain pre-school children.

The site, at www.bbc.co.uk/education, is the BBC's first for pre-school children.

Jonathan Drori, head of digital media at BBC Education, said: "The Teletubbies website has been carefully designed and extensively users tested to make sure that it's both entertaining and educational. Seeing young children and their parents enjoying the site together has been one of the highlights of my year!"
