Rosie Bardales: joins Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam as creative director

Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam has raided BBH, Fallon, AMV BBDO and Venables Bell & Partners to boost its creative department.

The agency has poached Bartle Bogle Hegarty’s (BBH) creative director Rosie Bardales, who was overseeing clients including Britvic UK, ITV and ITV2 and Wonderbra.

She joins Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam in the same role. Bardales joined BBH in March 2009 from Mother.

The agency has also taken on Fallon creative team Selena McKenzie and Toby Moore.

McKenzie, who will become senior art director, and Moore, senior copywriter at the agency, joined Fallon in 2007 from Publicis Mojo in Australia, where they worked on Nike, Nescafé, Nestlé and Toyota. At Fallon, the duo worked on Tate, BBC and French Connection.

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO creative team Bernard Hunter and Mike Bond also join Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam’s creative department as senior copywriter and senior art director respectively.

The pair, who won gold at Campaign's Big Awards 2009 for their work on Department of Transport, joined AMV in 2006 from Mother in New York. Before that, they worked at both Publicis New York and TBWA\Paris.

The final creative duo to join the agency behind Nike's 'Write the Future1 and Heineken's 'The Entrance' campaigns is art director Ivan Cash and creative technologist Dan Maxwell.

The pair join from Venables Bell & Partners. Cash will join in the same role and Maxwell as a copywriter.

The creatives will work under the new leadership team of Mark Bernath, Eric Quennoy and Lee Newman. The pair were promoted to the roles of executive creative directors in September last year.
