Golf’s European Tour has released a three-minute film as part of its "every shot imaginable" campaign featuring the former world number one Rory McIlroy. Saatchi & Saatchi created the ad, which pits McIlroy against a talking golf-ball-hitting machine in a battle to see who can hit balls into washing machines positioned on a driving range. The wisecracking robot is voiced by the comedian Geoff Norcott. The four-minute spot will be hosted on the European Tour’s YouTube page. It was written by Laurence Quinn and Michael Campbell, art directed by Mark Norcutt and Greg Martin, and directed by Kevin Hutchins through Motion Picture House and Caramel Pictures.
