Halifax has launched a TV spot to highlight the bank’s assertion that it offers a mortgage to first-time buyers every three minutes. The ad was created by Adam & Eve/DDB and features a primary-school teacher who also coaches a junior football team. It shows the great effort that he puts into coaching the children, while a voiceover, by the Homeland actor David Harewood, describes how Halifax thinks that those who give extra should get extra back from their bank. The ad was written by Matt Woolner and Steve Wioland, and directed by Mike Long through Epoch Films.
