New business / billings: new business for 2013 is a projected £8m based on new accounts won.

Summary of the year so far: At R/GA London, the first half of 2013 has treated us extremely kindly, on all fronts. We’ve added 25 people, including senior hires in Rodrigo Sobral (ECD), Maggie Lonergan (Global Client Partner, Unilever) and Alex Wills (Group Director, Digital Studio). We’ve opened our Digital Lab, an innovation and prototyping space that’s created new ways for us to work with our clients. We’ve been voted 2nd most respected agency in London, by our peers in New Media Age, based on awards won across the globe for work on Beats by Dr. Dre, Getty Images, Nike and O2. And we’ve picked up five new clients along the way, including significant chunks of global business from Diageo, Heineken and Unilever. So, an 8 for the first half of 2013; as we cement ourselves as the European hub for the R/GA network, we’re leaving room for the second half of the year go even better.
