Yahoo's @Queen_uk series: an exclusive preview

It's Gin O'Clock. Or it will be at 5pm on Friday 15 November when Yahoo launches an online comedy series, based on the marvellous @Queen_uk Twitter account.

We’ve obtained an exclusive sneak peak at the show, written by the secret author of @Queen_uk, the spoof Twitter account that parodies what the Queen might tweet. It's usually about gin, and she has more than 1.1 million followers.

The new show, ‘Yes Ma’am’, is funded by Yahoo and kicks off on 15 November on Yahoo Screen, with an episode called ‘Prince William is Left Holding the Baby’.

The Queen will be voiced by Kate Robbins, who also voiced the Queen in the ITV show 'Spitting Image'. But the mystery tweeter behind the account remains anonymous – although they devised and wrote the series.
