The iAd Workbench, which launched in the US in June, allows app developers to book campaigns to promote their services across Apple's network of digital ads quickly and easily.

The expansion to Europe follows a successful trial with EBookers and will mean the service is available to developers in UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Apple has an iAd sales team that works with brands and agencies wanting to advertise on the network.
