BBH hires creatives to strengthen BA team

Bartle Bogle Hegarty has hired Tom Skinner and Phil Holbrook as creative directors to strengthen the British Airways team after the agency won the account in February.

Skinner joins from The Red Brick Road and Holbrook from Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO. The pair previously worked together at CHI & Partners.

They join the existing creative directors, Matt Moreland and Chris Clarke, and will report to the joint executive creative directors Warren Moore and Ewan Paterson. Moore and Paterson have been recruiting specialists to the 50-strong BA team over the past few months.

Skinner began his career 15 years ago at Lowe. In 2003, he moved to CHI, where he worked for nine years and rose to creative director. He set up and led the Team News unit servicing the agency’s News International (now News UK) business before joining The Red Brick Road in July last year.

Holbrook was an art director at AMV for two years. Before that, he spent more than five years at CHI as a creative director and three years as an art director at Hall Moore CHI, the agency’s internal digital hub at the time.
