Oxfam: three agencies are competing for the charity’s direct marketing business

Oxfam is progressing with the review of its direct marketing account. The successful agency will be tasked with helping to increase donations. After holding chemistry meetings last week, the charity has shortlisted three shops to go through to the pitch process, which will be held at the beginning of October. WPN Chameleon is the incumbent.

At least eight agencies are involved in the Orangina pitch, including the Lucozade Ribena Suntory roster shops Grey London and M&C Saatchi. Chemistry meetings are taking place over two days this week, with the client due to appoint an agency off the back of those meetings.

The controversial Kwik Fit advertising pitch is still going ahead, with a handful of shops deciding (with depressing predictability) to break ranks and send over creative ideas without ever having met the client. So much for standing firm.
