The Corner will initially work on a campaign for the 500th anniversary of Hampton Court Palace. It won the account after a competitive pitch against St Luke’s. Mcgarrybowen and 101 were also shortlisted in a process handled by AAR.

Historic Royal Palaces has previously worked with agencies including Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy (now Dare) and Elvis on a project basis, but wanted to consolidate its creative into a single shop.

Its relationship with M2M is unaffected.

Amanda Cole, the head of marketing, brand and web at Historic Royal Palaces, said: "Following an extensive process, we are looking forward to working with The Corner to produce the creative advertising for our major 2015 campaign celebrating the 500th anniversary of Hampton Court Palace.

"We will be in discussions about the possibility of agreeing a longer-term strategic partnership covering all our palaces during the coming months."
