INTERACTIVE: The Express on Sport

By KELD VAN SCHREVEN, campaignlive.co.uk, Friday, 02 October 1998 12:00AM

This is part of the Express Newspapers’ Diffusion range: a soft, yet fragrant sort of a site that is one of the better - although relatively unknown - United Media offerings. Compared with the more in-yer-face Megastar, this is the likeable, quiet cousin.

I really like this interface: it makes me feel warm about what’s on

offer and, although I have some issues with the navigation, it’s a

working site with genuine offerings about sport at all levels. There’s a

one-shot Sport Finder which is good and an excellent My Diary which is

very handy. All sporting activities are covered and kept up to date. I

tried some very bizarre searches which all managed to come up with the

goods - even perch fishing had a listing! Well, before I get my lobworm

out and idly wander the river banks, I’d definitely check this site

again.
