Beautifully shot, tightly edited spots that glide from one exotic location to another marking a dramatic departure for animation director, Sam Arthur.

It also marks a departure for CNN whose ads are usually noisy and frenetic, blasting us with bulletins, war zones and grim-faced reporters.

These ads take a serene approach with a slow-build, the aesthetically pleasing images drawing us in and forcing us to guess what it's all about. Arthur covered 35,000 miles in less than 22 days to film the spots.
