The Art Fund needed to reach art lovers in a visually striking and interesting way. A piece of wallpaper reading "without the Art Fund this could be all that's left hanging in our museums and galleries" was inserted into local upmarket magazines. It gained a 4 per cent conversion rate. A judge said: "It's getting harder to be arresting on a budget and this manages it beautifully. It shows elegant simplicity - DM doesn't have to be complicated."
