Partners BDDH has recruited Donna Nicholson to take on the newly created role of marketing partner.

Partners BDDH has recruited Donna Nicholson to take on the newly

created role of marketing partner.

The appointment comes a week after Partners BDDH was acquired by the

US-based Snyder Communications in a pounds 16 million deal as the

springboard of the group’s European creative operations.

Nicholson will have a seat on the board when she joins in the first week

of 1999, having spent just eight months at Doner Cardwell Hawkins. She

joined Doner Cardwell from TBWA GGT Simons Palmer, where she was head of

UK group development.

Originally at GGT, Nicholson claimed her new role after the merger with

TBWA Simons Palmer was not ideal: ’I’m a new-business person. I am

motivated by creativity and energy.’ Of her stint at Doner Cardwell, she

said: ’It was short but sweet. I put together a good new-business

database, was involved in pitches, helped with a reel, a brochure and

worked with the Advertising Agency Register and the Incorporated Society

of British Advertisers.’

Nigel Long, chief executive of Partners BDDH, said: ’Donna’s arrival is

perfectly timed. Our proposition has never been better but we’ve been a

bit quiet about communicating it. Donna’s mix of energy and experience

will make all the difference.’

Nicholson, who will be responsible for new business and the

communication of the agency’s proposition to the outside world, added:

’Partners BDDH has to be one of the most exciting agencies to be

involved with right now.’
