Real Media lands task to sell ads for VirginStudent.com

Real Media has been hired to handle advertising sales for VirginStudent.com.

Real Media has been hired to handle advertising sales for

VirginStudent.com.



The internet advertising company will talk to agencies about banner

opportunities and seek out sponsors for the student site.



VirginStudent contains a ’toolbox’ that includes SMS messaging, an

address book and a diary to help students ’sort out their lives’.



Peter Boyd, commercial director for VirginStudent, commented on the

deal: ’It is invaluable for us to grow the advertising side of our

business while we evolve brands into full partners on the site.’



Brian White, media services director at Real Media, said: ’We are

pleased to be working with such a high-profile brand. There is huge

potential on the site to go beyond the banner. Students respond well to

inventive messages.’
