– 365 Corporation, the digital publishing company behind the 365 series of branded sports and entertainment websites, has appointed Media21 to handle its online media planning and buying activity.

Media21 was appointed without a competitive pitch, having been working with 365 on a project basis for the past few months.

According to Pramesh Chauhan, marketing manager at 365, said: "Having worked with media21 on a project basis we are now pleased to officially appoint them to handle our online requirements. They have demonstrated both incisive thinking and the intent to be at the forefront of digital media communications."

365 owns sites including football365.com, music365.com, personals365.com and rugby365.com, as well as the recently acquired sites planet-rugby.com, planet-f1.com and cricketline.com.

Media21's client list now includes BOL.com, QXL.com, Blue Square, Upmystreet.com, VNU and Another.com (previously Funmail.com).
