- Syzygy, the London-based new-media agency part-owned by WPP Group, has launched a dedicated unit to develop short term internet projects.
The service, called Digital Fast Track, is aiming to cater for developments such as one off, promotional micro-sites designed to support above the line advertising, product launches, or business events such as mergers.
Chris Robson, managing director, at Syzygy, said: "The internet marketplace is splitting into two distinct camps: long-term e-business consulting and implementation services, and time-critical short-term projects. Syzygy fully intends to be at the forefront of both."
He added: "The pace of change in today's business environment is forcing firms to prepare more thoroughly and respond ever faster to events. In turn, their internet partners need to be able to provide them with the tools, quality and flexibility of service and price transparency that companies expect in such a trusted relationship."
The Digital Fast Track initiative is being headed by Andrew Lowe, who was previously head of multimedia at the London post-production house, Oasis TV.
