– Amazon.co.uk and the Bertelsmann owned BOL are to take their price fight in the book market into a new arena with both announcing plans to offer music on their UK stores.

Amazon's service is already up and running and will be followed by BOL in mid November. Amazon is promising three times the selection of a typical music store and competitive pricing across a wide selection of titles, including best-selling albums with prices starting from £9.99.
