CIA already holds the media planning and buying account for Haribo in Germany, Austria, Poland and Czech Republic.

Christian Freund, Haribo marketing manager, said: "We looked at a few other agencies but we are keen to build on the long relationship CIA has with the Haribo headquarters in Germany."

Haribo, which is famous for its gums and jellies, is launching a number of new products early in 2001.
