Starcom Motive nets highest accolade at Media Awards 2000

- Starcom Motive dominated the media awards this year, scooping the award for the best media campaign of the year for a second year running with its Stella Artois "movies that matter" campaign.

Starcom's work on Stella won a further two awards, those for the best sponsorship and best use of mixed media. It also won the best international campaign award for its European media strategy for the launch of Levi's Engineered Jeans brand.

Caroline Marland, the outgoing managing director of The Guardian Media Group's national newspaper division, was named the media achiever of the year for revolutionising the classified sales market during her long career at The Guardian.

New PHD's work for the Television Licence with ads highlighting where people were evading the licence fee was awarded best use of outdoor. MVi Total Sponsorship's work with DHL on Capital FM with every prize winner on the station being told on-air "We'll DHL it over to you today" won best use of radio.
