- GoTo.com, the three-month-old Internet search service based in Pasadena, California, is seeking its first ad agency.
It is holding talks with between 10 and 13 "traditional" agencies, Stephanie Sarka, senior vice president of marketing at GoTo.com confirmed.
The size of the account and timing of the work the has not been determined, but a result is expected next month, she added.
GoTo.com launched in June with an ad tagline "Search made simple" which has been used in its advertising online and off; the latter predominantly has consisted of radio.
