The World: New Delhi - TBWA to handle launch of Michelin in India

TBWA\Delhi has been awarded the creative account for the tyre manufacturer Michelin.

The agency has been briefed to create a fully integrated campaign to support the company's launch in the country.

This news came as the agency announced it had appointed Nirmalya Sen, the vice-president of Mudra Communications, to the position of vice-president. His main role will be to turn around the agency's fortunes of the past two years, during which time it has lost almost all of its major clients.

Sen said: "The agency has been successfully resurrected in cities such as Mumbai and Bangalore, but as yet we haven't managed to turn it around in New Delhi. That is what I'm here to do."
