Financial services group Clerical Medical is updating its image with a pounds 4.5m consumer brand ad campaign based on a ’modern’ cleric and medic.

with a pounds 4.5m consumer brand ad campaign based on a ’modern’ cleric

and medic.



Created by Partners BDDH, the ads feature a professional married couple

in their 30s, Kate, a vicar, and Paul, a doctor. The couple are seen in

different scenarios faced daily by professionals, such as coping with

part-time working, to illustrate the range of products available to

consumers. The ads kick off on August 14 with a second burst planned for

November, and will be supported by a poster campaign. The Kate and Paul

characters will also feature on all product literature from the end of

September. Clerical Medical hopes they will become instantly

recognisable. Media is by Zenith.
