Michelangelo's iconic David has lost one of his legs in a new advertising campaign urging Italians to donate money to preserve the nation's art treasures. Using the strapline "Without you, Italy could lose something", various wonders of the Italian art world will be shown with shocking damage in the campaign. It was created by Dentsu Italia on behalf of the non-profit foundation CittaItalia, which is asking even for small donations to help in its work of restoring damaged artworks.
