DCSF kicks off hunt for digital agency

LONDON - The Department for Children, Schools and Families is on the hunt for a digital advertising agency to promote its Youth Alcohol Action Plan.
The Government body is in the process of shortlisting six undisclosed shops to pitch for the business.
The successful agency will be briefed to produce digital advertising campaigns aimed at changing attitudes towards alcohol among children, young people and their parents and carers.
Confirmation of the review comes shortly after the DCSF kicked off a pitch for the above-the-line account.
A result on that pitch, which saw VCCP and Wieden & Kennedy compete in a final shoot-out, is expected to be announced in the next couple of weeks.
Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy were knocked out of the contest at an earlier stage.
A pitch for the media planning account ended last month when Manning Gottlieb OMD beat Naked and Starcom MediaVest to win the business.
