The World: New York - Goodby lands Yahoo! advertising and digital briefs, Friday, 30 October 2009 12:00AM

Yahoo! has appointed Goodby Silverstein & Partners to handle the creative duties on its US advertising and digital accounts, just one month after Yahoo! launched a $100 million global rebranding campaign created by Ogilvy & Mather.

The move means that Yahoo! is shifting Ogilvy's focus on to global advertising work, with Goodby now responsible for developing all ongoing domestic creative activity.

Yahoo!'s recent campaign runs across TV, print, digital and radio. The work features members of the public standing against colourful backgrounds, accompanied by the strapline: "It's Y!ou."
