Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO is promoting a campaign to put more roofs
over the heads of homeless people by making empty properties available
All creative and production services, as well as media time and space,
have been offered free for the TV, cinema and national press
The Empty Homes Agency aims to put pressure on the Government, local
authorities and owners of empty properties to cut the red tape that
prevents homes being made available.
The ads, by the creative team, Tom Carty and Walter Campbell, feature
London’s familiar blue plaques commemorating homeless rather than famous
The advertising is intended to raise funds and highlight what the
charity says is the need to change the VAT rules that encourage owners
to let empty homes languish.
