Monster.co.uk, the online job search site owned by TMP Worldwide,

is looking for an agency network to handle its dollars 20 million

advertising account across Europe.

The company, which spent pounds 2 million in the UK two months before

Christmas, is drawing up a shortlist.

Media is handled by RCL Communications in the UK. Rikke Rasmussen,

European marketing director for Monster, said the media arrangements may

also be reviewed in the long term.

She added that the aim was to consolidate the creative business to

achieve cost savings and look at the business from a more European

perspective.

The site is running in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK and

it is planning to launch in Germany and Ireland shortly. It is well

established in the US.

The incumbent on the UK creative account, Redhanded Films, developed

press, TV and outdoor campaigns which broke last October. That work used

children voicing the opinions of adults disenchanted with their jobs.
