Adam & Eve lands Silver Spoon brief

Adam & Eve has scooped the UK advertising account for Silver Spoon sugar after a pitch against undisclosed agencies.

Chick Smith Trott was the incumbent on the account. The agency will remain on the roster, working on the brand's Crusha milkshake mix.

The agency has worked with Silver Spoon for ten years, after landing the account without a pitch in 2000.

Adam & Eve will now be briefed to create a TV campaign for Silver Spoon designed to increase the brand's presence in the market. It is scheduled to launch in the spring.

The most recent advertising for Silver Spoon appeared last year and was for the Crusha brand. It featured the punk kittens, who were seen working out in a gym while dancing and singing along to a Euro house- inspired track.

Silver Spoon is owned by British Sugar, which was bought by Associated British Foods in 1991.
