Agencies line up for easyCar.com brief

EasyCar.com is looking for an agency to handle advertising for its peer-to-peer car-rental marketplace, easyCar Club.

There is no intermediary involved in the pitch process.

The easyGroup-owned  platform has contacted agencies and initial meetings will take place over the next week.

EasyCar was founded in April 2000 as a low-cost online car-rental business. 

EasyCar Club, which enables people to rent out their cars or vans when they are not using them, launched nationwide in February 2014 after the service was trialled in London in 2013.

In September last year, easyProperty, the online estate agency that is also part of easyGroup, appointed Goodstuff Communications to its media planning and buying account.

EasyGroup did not respond to requests for comment.
