Agencies line up as Jacob's Creek looks for new ad strategy

Pernod Ricard, the French wines and spirits group, is looking for an ad agency to raise the profile of its Jacob's Creek Australian wine.

The brand, which spends around £4 million in the UK, is using ISBA to select agencies for the brief, following the completion of its long-running Friends sponsorship.

Clemenger BBDO in Adelaide produced the creative work for the idents, which played on the association of drinking wine and friendship.

Jacob's Creek continues to sponsor the Wimbledon tennis tournament, and Pernod Ricard is understood to be in discussions about raising its TV profile once more through future sponsorships.
