There’s that old devil again, urging you to say: ’Because it was

advertised.’ Less self-destructive answers are: ’It matches my skills’

or ’It was the right time to move.’ But they lack the dynamism that will

get you hired.



It’s better to say that you were excited by the ad and felt the job

offered new challenges. Do not say: ’Because I hated my old job.’
