Albion appoints five new creative heads

Albion has hired Clive Pickering, a former head of copy at TBWA\London, as one of five new creative group heads as part of a restructure of its creative department.

Mark Hurst and Martyn Smith, the former creative directors at United London and McCann Erickson, and Andre Moreira, the former head of art at BBDO in Lisbon, have also joined in group head roles. Aaron Hinchion, a senior Albion creative, has been promoted to the fifth position.

All five will report to Nick Darken, Albion's partner and executive creative director. Each will manage a creative team of five across a portfolio of Albion's accounts, which include eBay, UKTV, Skype and Innocent.

Pickering previously worked with Neil Dawson as creative partner at TBWA\London, at Bartle Bogle Hegarty and DDB London. Along with Dawson, he created the Volkswagen "surprisingly ordinary prices" campaign.
