Anthea Benton and Chris McBride sign with Believe London

The production company Believe London has signed Anthea Benton, the director best known for her work as an art director with Vaughan Arnell.

Benton joins from Partizan, although she has been working with Believe in the US during the past year.

Her last work in the UK was for Leagas Delaney's "I'm Sticking With You" spot for Hyundai.

More recently, she has directed four ads for Nissan with TBWA\Chiat\Day.

She also directed "pool" for Archers and two spots for Peugeot in 2001, including the 60-second spot for the 307 with the soundtrack (Something Inside) So Strong.

Believe has also hired Chris McBride as an executive producer. McBride joins from Large Corp.

Janie Balcomb, the managing director of Believe London, said: "I am a big admirer of Anthea and am looking forward to bringing out the best in her. What she has to offer in expertise is invaluable to our company."
