Sandberg called it: "one of the most powerful videos I have ever seen."

The ad, which is part of P&G-owned Ariel's #SharetheLoad campaign, shows the father writing a letter to his daughter apologising on behalf of every dad who has set the wrong example.  He watches her juggle office and household chores while her husband sits in front of the TV.

"I am proud and I am so sorry," her father says. "Sorry on behalf of every dad who set the wrong example. Your husband must have learnt the same from his dad."

He vows to change and returns home to help his own wife with the washing.

The ad finishes with the line "Why is laundry only a mother’s job?"
