- The Hush Puppies Company has appointed US agency Arnold Communications to create a global branding and integrated marketing campaign for the Hush Puppies brand of fashion shoes.

The agency was appointed to the estimated $5 million account without a formal review process. The appointment ends Bozell Worldwide's five and a half-year tenure on the business.

Jeff Lewis, vice-president of marketing for Hush Puppies, said: "Based on their work for brands like Volkswagen, Arnold has the creative power to strengthen our lead as the world's largest family footwear brand."

In July the Boston-based agency, which won the Cannes press and poster Grand Prix for its VW Beetle work, announced its intention to set up an office in the UK.
