Grey has boosted its international account handling team by hiring
Paul Arnold from Saatchi & Saatchi.
Arnold, who was at Saatchis for 15 years, becomes the worldwide account
supervisor on the SmithKline Beecham oral hygiene business at Grey. His
brief is to develop the business in more than 130 countries.
He replaces Andrea Carbonara, who has been promoted to an international
role within the network.
Arnold joined Saatchis in 1983 as a graduate trainee, rising through the
ranks to become a board account director and management supervisor. Most
recently, he was the regional account director supervising the Hewlett
Packard printers business in 38 countries.
He also worked on a number of fmcg accounts including Gillette, Anchor
and Reckitt & Colman, of which he became the management supervisor.
Other roles have included management supervisor on Disney and director
of training at Saatchis, where he set up the sponsored MBA programme and
oversaw graduate training.
