Aviva 'detector' by AMV BBDO

The latest ad for Aviva car insurance introduces a new Paul Whitehouse character, a Lancastrian metal-detecting enthusiast named Eddie.

The spot, by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, promotes Aviva’s new online deal. "Eddie" will also appear in two more ads planned for this year.

The spot was written by Dave Buchanan and art directed by Mike Hannett. It was directed by Declan Lowney through HSI.
