B&Q most aired brand on UK TV in April

B&Q was the most advertised brand by TV airtime in the UK last month.

The home improvement retailer’s latest TV campaign, which launched in March with "zebras", was aired for 1,870 minutes across free-to-air and pay TV in April. A total of 3,743 spots were aired and the ads were created by WCRS. 

Ads for L’Oréal Paris took up the second highest amount of airtime on UK TV last month, with 1,780 minutes, followed by Moneysupermarket.com with 1,544 minutes. 

Last month's top three most aired brands were Samsung, Nationwide and BT.

B&Q was the most advertised brand on free-to-air channels last month, with 405 minutes of ads aired, followed by Comparethemarket.com (384 minutes) and Furniture Village (376 minutes).

Across pay TV channels in April, B&Q was also the most advertised brand by TV airtime, with 339 minutes, followed by Nivea and Very.co.uk.

The data was collected by data science company 4C for the period 1-30 April.
