The London brewery Young's is launching its first national consumer
press advertising from 4 June through Banc.
The three ads are part of a pounds 1 million spend to support the
brand's move into the national marketplace and all feature Young's
The first, for Triple A real ale, shows the ram in sunglasses with the
strapline "Hip Hops". Another, for Waggledance honey beer, shows a
yellow and black striped ram, and the third, for Double Chocolate Stout,
shows two moulded chocolate rams.
All three ads will run for two months in the sports sections of most of
the nationals, as well as the trade press. The Waggledance execution
will also run on 48-sheet posters.
The campaign was overseen by Banc's director of advertising, Peter
Harold, art directed by Craig Roderick and written by Stuart Blake and
Media planning and buying is through Walker Media.
