The Barclays division is looking to consolidate its roster of 14 digital agencies, including Dare and LBi, down to two.
Advertising for Barclays Corporate is handled by Ogilvy UK, which is unaffected by the review. Bartle Bogle Hegarty, which handles advertising for Barclays' retail arm and Barclaycard, is also unaffected.
Earlier this month, Barclays unveiled an ad campaign to promote the Corporate division, which services the accounts of corporations with turnovers of at least £5 million. The campaign took the relatively unusual step of using consumer-style ads in press, outdoor and online to promote the division.
Separately, last week, Barclays' retail division handed its consumer-facing direct marketing business to EHS 4D following a competitive pitch.
