The children's charity, which has previously used its above-the-line agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty to produce its online advertising, has yet to reveal the exact nature of the task. BBH has not been approached to pitch, but will continue to work with Barnardo's on online projects.
The agency's last major digital campaign for the charity – a viral featuring a boy being interviewed by a care worker – was launched in June 2007. It has also produced banner ads.
The charity's "break the cycle" campaign by BBH was this week revealed as the most-complained-about ad of 2008 by the Advertising Standards Authority.
