Barnes Vereker appoints new media head

- London agency Barnes Vereker has strengthened its new media capability with the appointment of Derek Nicholson as head of interactive media.

- London agency Barnes Vereker has strengthened its new media capability with the appointment of Derek Nicholson as head of interactive media.

Nicholson joins from new media agency, Seven Interactive, after five years. Most recently he held the post of operations director. Prior to that he worked for a number of IT companies including the Wace Group.

At Seven he became increasingly involved in client consultancy and technical systems delivery, focusing on ecommerce and dotcom start-ups.
