Barratt quits Carlton Screen after company restructure

Carlton Screen Advertising’s joint sales director Peter Barratt has left the company after a restructure of its sales and marketing operations.

Carlton Screen Advertising’s joint sales director Peter Barratt has

left the company after a restructure of its sales and marketing

operations.

The changes are part of the consolidation process of merging CSA’s sales

division into Carlton Media Group.

Barratt is to be replaced by Jane Rumsey, who will be the sales director

of a newly integrated sales force, merging both the client and agency

sales teams to work as one unit. CSA is seeking two account directors to

join the new sales team.

Charlotte Stockting, head of marketing, is also leaving CSA. The

marketing and research arm of the company will be run by marketing

managers Nicola Young and Sandra Dickenson, based in CSA’s office in

Golden Square, Soho.

The marketing department will report to Fran Cassidy, director of

marketing at Carlton TV. Debbie Chalet, managing director of CSA, will

now report to Martin Bowley, chief executive of Carlton TV.

Separately, CSA has won the contract to sell screen time for all Cine-UK

sites from July. Cine-UK owns 13 multiplex cinemas across the UK and

operates 146 screens. CSA now represents 80 per cent of UK multiplex

sites.
