- Bass Brewers is to review the advertising account for its Worthington's beer brand out of WCRS.

The brewer claims that the move is part of its strategy of focusing on core brands, giving each roster agency just one brand to focus on.

WCRS already handles Carling which has prompted the move. Worthington's is worth an estimated £3.5 million.

"Worthington's has been doing very well but we want to align one brand to one agency. We will be talking to other agencies outside the roster," said a company spokesman.

Other roster agencies include The Leith Agency which handles Tennents Lager; Roose & Partners which handles Caffrey's; Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper which works on Grolsch.
