BBC global news seeks digital agencies to boost awareness

LONDON - The BBC's global news division, which includes BBC World Service and BBC World, is seeking to create a small roster of digital marketing agencies that will supply strategic advice and campaigns to boost brand awareness.

The chosen agencies will provide a range of digital marketing campaigns over a two-year period, promoting the BBC news brands, services and programmes.

Agencies are invited to register on the BBC's central procurement team website and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire by Wednesday October 31.

The final roster will work alongside the BBC's marketing and communications teams and its media roster agencies.

Earlier this month, the BBC announced it was building a roster of digital agencies that will be tasked with relaunching its entire £116m online operation.

The BBC plans to appoint a selection of web design-and-build agencies to overhaul its BBC homepage in the first instance, and subsequently overhaul the rest of its web portal thereafter.
