BBC launches three interactive TV services

BBC Text will offer hundreds of pages of news, weather, finance, sport and TV listings. It will include colour pictures and can be reduced to take up only 1/4 of the screen.

Another new service, BBC Knowledge Text, will enable BBC Knowledge viewers to access programme related subjects beyond those they can watch on the channel.

An interactive element is also been added to children's programme Voyager. It will enable viewers to use the handset to answer challenges related to that day's TV programme.
